If you look closely at the phrase next to the left of the window it states "IN MEMORY OF MIKE BUTTERIS" This was a young firefghter that lost the battle of lukemia. This person was a very excellent firefighter and was a close personal friend to all the dept. This is another example of what fellow firefighters will do to cherish the memories of their friends.
