"Widow Makers" A commonly use term used by all who work in the Australian forest.
It loosely use term to describe falling trees and or their limbs killing or injuring forrest workers with little or no warning. "Notice I put injuring LAST"
1. Burnt out easy to spot,
2. Fire effected happens months down the track like a time bomb i.e mountain ash etc.
3. Heat effected sheds limbs i.e white smooth bark gums or eucalyps
4. Cold effected
5. Wind affected.
6. Shallow roots usually "bloody BIG trees"
7. termites or white ants affected forrest like this picture these fall like domino's
8. Loose mulch, sand, sodden soils and the list goes on.
