August 22, 2013 -- The Wilmington Fire Department responded to a 2 alarm blaze in the city's downtown section. The fire struck a 200 year old structure, which had been condemned in 2012 by the city Office of Licenses and Inspection. 3 firefighters were injured during the blaze, which saw city fire stations covered by companies from New Castle County.
