Why I Joined Fire/EMS

friends of mine had a house fire. he's a captain with our city department. it was so interesting to learn about fire from a firefighter who had a house fire--he explained everything. i went over to help clean up 2 days after the fire and ended up helping for about 5 months...for Christmas they took me to a training fire. i was hooked.
