About Me:

My name is josh im 21 years old i have ben a firefighter for going on 5 years strong now i have ben around it my whole life both my parents are firefighters . I started the job with pattersonville vfd in pattersonville ny when i was 16 competed ff1 when i was 17 graduated that same time as my complition as a proby and became full active i left there for about a year and then joined fort johnson fire company so far the best company i worked with fjfc wors to protect the village of fort johnson and the town of amsterdam staffed with over 30 member 2 stations with 2 engines 2 tankers a tower a brush truck light duty rescue and an 1930's engine for show this company is able to protect with fire prevention ems resuce rope rescue and many others i love this job it is a part of my life if not the most important thing in it ill never quit i love hleping people and everony knows were im commin from when i say nothin better lol

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

i got into the fire and ems field becuse i was raised around it and it is just in my blood and always has ben my passion sense i was a lil kid my mother faought a fully involved structure when she was 4 months prego with me lol....so and the fact of helping people when you see someones face after you saved them rescued them no matter what it is for that little bit you forget about all the bad going on in your life and you cant wait to help more ....
