Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I joined this because I love to help people, and I grew up surrounded by EMS, because both my parents have ran on the local ambulance service just about as long as I can remember, and I have just always known that I would do it too. I love the feeling that I get when I can help someone. Plus, lets be honest here, I'm a bit of an adreneline junky!!!

Sometimes its harder than you think....

I have not seen a huge amount stuff in my short career as an EMT, but I have seen a few things that would bother some people, but nothing that has really affected me. When you think of what would bother you, you always think of kid calls, or a mass casualty, or something along those lines, never did I think the following story would have such an impact on me.
