Richard, you list yourself as Chief Of N Posey County Firefighting Explorers. OK? You do firefighting? Are you NFPA Firefighter I ? Your Chief?
What am I spreading the word about and why do I have a need to sign up? Not being smart about this but I obviously am not Explorer age and quite definitely do not live anywhere near you.

Being that you're from a volunteer department, are you and the other explorers issued pagers or radios?

The volunteer dept in the county next to us goes as far as to let their explorers run lights and sirens and drive the engines as long as they have a drivers license due to their roster of only 12 guys.
I was only wondering if your volunteer dept was that crazy or if they are very strict on you guys.
