The glove I have found to be very good and affordable is Fireman's Sheild, you can check them out on the web at Fireman's Shield.com .I wear these gloves alot and they are very comfortable and easy to work with.

I will agree with you on the comfort but the concern I had was with the liner,the shell of the glove seems to be fine, I actually use them still as work/utility glove but wont wear them for Fireground work.
