Why I Joined Fire/EMS

Initially, because a buddy of mine, John DeBoard, who is still with North Charleston Fire Department, kept talking me into putting in an application. I left the fire service and went full time working for fitness centers and did personal training. I now am putting together a volunteer group for firefighter fellowships and for promoting firefighters. I was inspired to start that just after we lost the 9 here in Charleston at the Sofa Super Store and because of my passion for giving back and showing appreciation to you guys!
