About Me:

I am married to really great woman ( 15 years) and have 3 boys. The oldest just joined the Marine Corps. I must say I am very proud that he made that choice for himself.

The other two (twins) are high school and in Fire Explorers. We also have a 4th living with us, he is our other son. He also joined the military. He has choosen to join the Army, we are also very proud of him. Most people collect baseball cards, we seem to collect kids, our newest and cutest addition is Brittany Moore. Very happy to have her as a part of our crazy little family.

Im a professional firefighter for the city of Lawrence Kansas. Thats right I get to protect the Jayhawks. In my off days I also volunteer for the fire department in Burlingame Ks. I work as a Lt. / Training Officer and also have started a Fire Explorer program. I am very proud of this program, the success of the program is a direct result of the quality of the members. I have had 2 go on to be paid firefighters and 4 that plan on joining the proffesion. These kids are the best, I really want to thank all of them for their hard work and proffesional attitudes.

When I am not working with either department I also work as an independant inspector with PFS. I inspect manufactured housing plants to make sure that they are building to code.
