About Me:
I'm 54 years young. Went through FF1 at age 50 and kept up with all the youngsters that were in the class. After Graduation from HS I entered the Air Force for a 4 year hitch---that lasted another 16 years and I retired in Oct. of 1992. Received an AAS degree from the Community College of the Air Force in 1985 in Electronic Systems Technology. I am now an Electronics/Electrical technician for the state of Ct.
Day Job:
Electronics/Electrical (QCW - Qualified Craft Worker) for the State of Ct.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I have many reasons for joining the Fire/EMS services. Most of all it is a sense of giving to my community. I served 20 years with the USAF and now I feel that I need to help out in my community by doing something that I enjoy. I was brought up in a Fire/EMS family so that is also another reason.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
love the sense of helping others.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Lack of volunteers to be able to fill the crew requirements. Many responders on the roles---but lack of involvement.

Yup, came to play in your town many times, and thanks. Well I'll see what I can do... nothing burns over here, well except for our 3 acre and 30 acre brush fires last year but I'll see what I can do. See you at the big one
