Anne, so very true. We may not always know what Gods plans are but we can be certain that He will be there to direct us an give us the ability to get through what ever he leads us to. He is faithful to complete that that He began in you. I would stake my life on this. With a child as you have God gives a special grace an strength to face each day an its situations.
Ann, I can certainly relate. After 31 years in the Fire Service an EMS it was extremely hard to retire. I moved away from my old department where I was Chief so that my predecessor could move forward without my being around plus I knew it would be hard for me as well to be around. We moved up here to Alaska. I looked into volunteering in our Local fire agency but decided i didnt want to contribute as much time as I felt I should to be part of it. I do miss it however.
Welcome to Firefighter Nation Anne. I'm glad you joined the group. There is lots to do, read and be involved with. Your participation and involvement is important to us all. Chief William Sharp- Retired Brookings Fire / Rescue Living in Alaska
