Check out Roll Call Groups and put some info about your Fire House in... Like to hear what your station is like, what you have as well as for number for firefighters as well as number of calls. Pass it around to your Firefighter Friends too....Easy way to located this group is go to my site and look at the bottom left. Short cut if you have a hard time locating this.

Also as a Training Officer, theres the Trainers Corner too. Like to hear some of what your doing for training or what areas need to be addressed...

    Enjoy, and stay safe!

    Hey Lou,
Thanks for writing back so fast! I'm sorry to hear about you losing so many friends and relatives on 9-11. I wondered if you were related to Joe Angeli. I send my address to ya', I'd love to get some DVD's. Anything left from St Louis?
About Vince, he went "home to be with the Lord" a few years ago. He's probably riding a Rescue Squad in Heaven! He was always a fireman! Stay safe brother!

    Hello Lou-

I enjoy your videos and your writings. I especially got a kick out of what you love most about being a firefighter: talking on the radio.

That is so true. It's what every little boy dreams of. Well, and big boys too!

    Stay safe. Train often.

Chester is now an all paid department. There are no more vollies in chester now. Not sure why. Chester has companies 81, 82, 83(when its staffed) THey have low income and not much manpower. That tower is the newest truck for Chester for Co. 82.
  • Joe Bynum

The tower on the left is Reliance fire company and the tower on the far right is chester's

    Hi Lou,
Nope, no real reason for the song, I just like it; I always have. I think it's one of the best-written songs ever....perhaps not so much lyrically, but certainly musically.
    Thanks for stopping by!

    Hi Lou,

Lou I would like to hae permission to reprint your blog "what if you had a fire....." I would like to have it published in all the local papers. You see we are a all Vol and our #'s and funding are shrinking every second of every day like everyone else. You are a very insightful man and wish you were closer in distance would love to have you come speak at a city council or county commisioners meeeting. If you allow me to reprint this I will AKE sure it is presented to all the city councils and the county commish's. Keep up the great work. TCSS
