Why I Joined Fire/EMS: To tell you the truth, they talked me in to it. I really was not sure about the whole thing, started in a ECA class,and that led into Basic. Now i have been in this "crazy "world for 14 years. I would not trade it for anything,it is such a rewarding thing to me. I still get that rush when the tones drop

Hi Susan, How was the pool party? We had the temps get into the 80's on Monday. Then they dropped to the 50's for Tuesday. Maybe we'll be able to get into the pools around here in July!

I'm doing good. A little cooler here than I like but hopefully summer will get here soon (at least before fall andwinter come back!) Don't you just love the brain dead public? Drought, dry fields and oh let's have some burning. Shouldn't be a problem. Hope the fire wasn't too much work. The people that start them should have to clean our rigs and equipment when we are all done cleaning up their messes. HA! HA! Like that would ever happen.

Hi Susan, hope the grant comes through for you. I just wrote one to try to get new extrication equipment but I haven't heard anything yet. It's been pretty nice here. Cool by Texas standards but warm enough to get the boat out and get a good sun burn.
