Why I Joined Fire/EMS
ACTUALLY, ONE OF MY FRIENDS INTRODUCED ME TO THE FIRE SERVICE, THOUGHT IT WOULD BE COOL IF I JOINED. SO THE ONE DAY THEY HAD THEIR DRILL NIGHT, I WENT TO GO CHECK TO SEE WHAT THEY WERE ALL ABOUT, THEIR CHIEF GAVE ME AN APPLICATION AND I HANDED IT IN THE NEXT DRILL NIGHT. EVER SINCE THEN IVE BEEN INVOLVED WITH THE FIRE SERVICE FOR ALMOST 5 YEARS AND HAVE TAKING NUMEROUS OF FIRE AND EMS COURSES..I ENJOY WHAT I DO!

    Check out the some of the Groups, I have started up "Close Calls" an area to tell your story of what you did and should not of so others learn. "Roll Calls" this is another group that allows you to tell us about your station and district. "Trainers Corner" is another area that you can read about issues other trainers have or deal with. As well if your not a trainer you can ask questions or state concerns you have. If you have a hard time locating them just go to my site and look at the bottom left hand corner.

    I guess I just have one of those familiar faces. If I have ran into you, it must've been at either Lackland Air Force Base, Sheppard AFB, Dyess AFB, or at the National Fire Academy, otherwise, I dont get outta state much. Went to High School in Albemarle, NC.

    I know you said you go to Mooresville. My fiancee used to live in Mooresville, but that was before we met. I did live in Albemarle while I was in High School. Im 32 and graduated in 1993. For a brief period, I lived in the Endy community between Albemarle and Charlotte which is not that far from Mooresville. Cant see how old you are by your pic, but if you went to either north stanly or Endy schools, maybe. If not, I guess I just have one of those "common" mugs.

    oh thats cool i like the new emergency room it looks alot better than the old one did the only thing that sucks is the drop off area you can hardly around the tight corner. yea i got a summer job at the parks dept. cleanin up the town parks and stuff.

    well theres only 49 school days left and im hopin they go super fast. mrs suita tells on everyone for anything she doesnt like. macowan is a dick but other than that its not too bad we got a real hot gym teacher so that makes up for some of it. so did you take your emt yet?

    yea one some kid fell asleep at the wheel and hit two telephone poles but hes fine. theres an emt class this summer in august at bomansville i might take it with jay gerbs teachin it but im not sure if i want to take it that close to college startin up but idk maybe i will.
