The fire department for me is a way of making a positive impact to my community and the larger world. It is also a place to form some of the most amazing relationships with a wonderful group of people.

I love being on the department and helping people. Being a possitive impact on someones life is a great feeling.

This is my life!! I have only been on for 2mo but i have been married to my husband who is also a firefighter for 8 years. Everythime the pager goes off my heart races and i want to be the one to go!! well now i do go and i love the rush i get to go and do whatever it takes to get the job done! I never would have thought i would like this as much as what i do. I even look forward to trainning nights! It's a blast:)

To me, the department is an extended family with all of us working together towards one common goal; Keeping our community safe.

I live in one of those really small rural towns where everyone knows your name and your buisiness, but I wouldn't change it for the world. Being part of the department is great. Ours is going through many changes, and it is exciting to be a part of those as well. Plus, you simply can't beat having the ability to give back to a community that helped raise you!

I didn't join the Volunteer Fire Department for the fun of it. Don't get me wrong it's great to get to know people locally and through other department(made some very wonderful life long friends)
I joined so I could do good for my community, kind of like paying it forward. I was w/the Washington State Forest Service before moving to back to Montana and settling down. I feel that the Fire Services has always been my calling.
I hope to get some very interesting conversations and information from others.
