Don't you need to have a City of Buffalo address to take the test?
90 prior to the exam
That's what I thought... I'm not about to move into the city just to take a test though.
If you know someone that does ask if you can use there address
That could get you in serious trouble for providing false information.
The city has had a tendancy over the last couple of years to stop by and check on applicant's and to verify actual addresses and utility payments. The police waved the rule why can't the Fire Dept. There are alot of Brother's and Sister's that are more than qualified for these positions but fail to live in the city. Maybe they should check there current roster!! They would be suprised.
But that would make too much sense
Well they didn't actually waive the ruling for the police exam if you looked at the paper the other day. All applicants that didn't live in the city of buffalo had their exams and applications thrown out... and they didn't get an exam refund either.
I applied earlier today. Luckily I'm a city residient. Have always wanted to go into police work, but have given it thought and finally decided this is for me. Is there any study guides that I should be reviewing prior to the exam? I'm sure there is but not sure what. Could someone please direct me here? Thanks!
go to any bookstore and find the most recent exam book thats out there buy it and study from there
i borrowed arco firefighter edition 14 from a friend will this do?
The whole address thing does suck, I know many City firefighters that live WAY outside of the city! And you have to have proof of residency for three months!
