The National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) has published the details of a public safety diving line of duty death. IADRS members Steve Orusa and Craig Jenni were recognized in the report acknowledging their professional assistance.

The report can be found online at:
http://www.cdc.gov/niosh/fire/reports/face200832.html

The IADRS Annual Basic Scuba Skills Evaluation form was also printed in the appendix of the report.

As the Executive Director of the International Association of Dive Rescue Specialists (IADRS), I extend my thanks to IADRS members Steve Orusa and Craig Jenni for their assistance, to IADRS members John Carney and Fred Jackson for their contributions in establishing the Scuba Skills Evaluation form, and the IADRS dues paying members who support the effort to keep "safety" in public safety diving. Thank you for your support!

Regards,

Blades Robinson, Executive Director
