The IADRS Water Rescue / Public Safety Diving Team Awards
The International Association of Dive Rescue Specialists (IADRS.org) is accepting nominations in the following categories for the 6th Annual IADRS Awards of Honor.
THE SILVER FIN AWARD – This award will be given to the most improved dive team.
THE DIVERSE FIN AWARD - This award will be given to the team with the most unique team funding idea.
THE FABULOUS FIN AWARD – This award will be given to the dive team deemed to be the most spectacular rescue.
THE DRAMATIC FIN AWARD – This award will be given to the dive team with the most unusual circumstances in a recovery.
THE SPECIALIZED FIN AWARD – This award will be given to the team withthe most technical recovery (use of SONAR/ROV/Camera, etc)
THE FIN OF PERSEVERANCE – This award will be given to the team with the longest running recovery operation.
THE ROBERT G.TEATHER AWARD – The person who has made a remarkable contribution to the safety of the public safety diver.
Please submit your nomination in typed form 800 words or less. List the category, team name and/or individual name. Please submit your name and contactinformation. All entries must be received by September 1, 2010 to be considered for the awards. Each award nomination must be submitted separately. The awards will be presented during the IADRS Conference planned in Charlotte, NC, September 21-24, 2010.
Nominees are encouraged to attend the IADRS International Public Safety Diver Conference but winners do not need to be present to win.
