The 2009 International Public Safety Diver Conference hosted by the International Association of Dive Rescue Specialists is presently in the "planning mode" and plans are almost finalized.

Tentative dates are shown below and are close to being locked in.

Pre-conference: Sept 18 - 22, 2009
Conference: Sept 22 - 25, 2009
Post conference: Sept 26 (tentatively at the U.S. National Whitewater Center in Charlotte)

Water Operations Officer Development Course (24 hour class)
Sept 19-21, 2009

Marine Sonic SONAR Operator Program
Sept 21-22, 2009

Visual Inspection Program (8 hour class)
Sept 21, 2009

Interspiro Repair Technician (8 hour class)
Sept 22, 2009

Dry Suit Repair (8 hour class)
Sept 22, 2009

IADRS CONFERENCE includes general session, hands on training and exhibits
Sept 22-25, 2009

U. S. National Whitewater Training Center (post-conference)
Sept 26, 2009


The location will be Charlotte, NC and the proposed hotel is the
Charlotte Hilton Executive Center. We are looking to lock in
room rates at $97 per night which will include a continental
breakfast (danish, muffins, coffee, etc).
