Deer season..see turkeys, turkey season...see deer. I want to invite all you guys to check out www.BrotherhoodFirst.com its a free classified post site for FFs. Its brand new, but it would be great if anyone could post some gear they don't use anymore so another FF might have a chance to enjoy it. Its free and simple. Thanks. Stay safe.

Killed 2 Turkeys this year. one weighed 19.5 with a 12 inch beard and 7/8 in spurs. Second one was 22 pounds with 11 3/4 inch beard and 1" spurs. I was glad to see it come and now it is gone for another year.

First day of Turkey season here in upstate NY (Fly Creek) near Cooperstown, NY. Seen them way off but to windy and they spooked.
Went to work at 6:30 am and almost ran 5 turkeys ever crossing in front of me. Good luck to all the hunters out there. Get a big Turkey. Have a great day. Donna H.

Have had some turkeys in the back yard for the past little while. Was told that there was little ones already, thought it might be pretty early for them. But can only go by what I've been told. Have seen groups of 40 and 50 gathering in the back. But once the season opens, it's like anything else. Wont see one for miles! Know a couple of years ago, went out each day no luck. First day of the season closed, I was out planting new seedling trees and the damn turkeys where 20 feet from me most of the day watching me plant and walking around the seedlings... Kept talking to them, told them if they get any closer I was going to hit them with the shovel... No such luck!
