Denver Drill...Used to rescue downed firefighter from enclosed room out a window. Tighten straps, back against wall under window, lift feet first, point toes toward window, grab top of scba once feet are at or out, and lift like no tomorrow to save that firefighter's life. Invented due to Denver death of firefighter.

Good luck on your journey to eagle scout! Chief, this is one of your kind! So, I assume a lot of outdoor survival. Ironically, knowing how to start fire in the wilderness is crucial, what ways have you learned? I use a knife and flint. How long have you been in the scouts, Kid?

I want to hear all about it. I am sure your scouts could show me a thing or two to help me get out alive. How long have you been a camp leader? By the way thanks for the support Chief!

A week ago I returned from the southern cascades. It was tremendous. Perfect weather and a full moon. Friends and I reached the peak of two summits, Hawkeye Point and Old Snowy Mt. 7800 feet with a panoramic view of Adams, Helen's, Rainier, Mt. Baker, Stuart, and Seven Sisters. Pumped water from streams running off the glacier. Even ate Carpenter Ant Larva raw. Tasted tangy! Mmmmm! Going tomorrow to climb Mt. Adams in questionable weather...Hope not to need your help while we're gone.

All you adventurers be safe, and enjoy the outdoors!
