I have worn a leather for 18 years and a Conway for the last 5. They are a little heavy, similar to the Houston, but I had a 2x12 with a garage door opener motor on it collapse on my noggin and aside from a stiff neck the next day, no harm. I stand by them.

I have been using a Conway leather now for 10 years. Hold up much better than the New Yorker I had before it. A little heavier than most but the key is balance. For a short time I had to use a "Plastic" traditional helmet and after about 30 min I would have the worst tension headache and stiff neck. We had others on the dept with the same issue. We changes helmets and the issue was gone. Yes we tried other "Plastic" helmets as well and it was an issue with just one we tried.

i have a paul conway leather and have had it for 3 years now. i really like it ,its a little heavy but really fits good.

I have had a Sam Houston and a Paul Conway leather. I have been wearing it for over 1o years all over the world including Saudi Arabia, FL, Bahamas and now the Aleutian Islans, AK. I much prefer the Paul Conway as it fits and wears the best. I fits much better and wears like a glove. I will never change to any other leather helmet and for the weight, who cares, it's leather. You will get 2 comments out of people in regards to leather "damn is it heavy" or "wow, its leather". Marion County FOOLS

I dont like them....i feel they are toooo heavy....but most leathers are....i rather the New Yorker...more traditional look
