EMT-B's and I's
Can any one bring to light about a MD in the State that is pushing to have advanced skills of both Basic and intermediates done away with? Or how I see it He/She is wanting to have EMT-I's removed from the state? What's up with that??

I've heard the same thing. The only thing that i heard it was a Ems supervisor in the up state of South Carolina. The reason is he only run paramedic up there.

The last I heard, the letters have been drafted and should be sent out soon, stating that EMT-Bs will not be allowed to intubate but intermediates still can. The department I'm with hasn't received that letter yet that I'm aware of.
