Relocating

Hello I am a Vol. FF from Ohio. My family and I are looking at relocating to the Greenwood SC or Florence SC area. If anyone lives in these areas or has some info please let me know. We will be in the area the week of July 28th, 2008. Any info on the areas would be great. We would like info on the job market and schools the most. I am a Supervisor in a steel factory now and my wife works in the bussiness office of our local hospital. We have 3 kids that will be moving with us. A son who is 17, a daughter that is 13 and a son that is 12. If anyone could help us out that we would be great.

I know this is late, but have you gotten any info on the 2 places you mentioned? I lived in Florence, SC for 10 years so I may be able to answer some of your questions. I can tell you there are some really good fire departments in that area. I spent time with both Windy Hill Fire Department and West Florence Fire Department. If you get the chance, check them out.
