Joel, Southern Maine Community College, South Portland Maine has had a successful student live-in program for 15+ yrs. If you contact Steve Willis at the college he can provide you with the program info. Each community that hosts a live-in student also has SOGs about what the student can and can't do and their responsibilities. I'm sure Steve could provide you with a list of the towns involved and contact info to get the specifics. This program has been tremedous success over the years with many of the students remaining in the area working for departments. That would be awesome Glen! I just checked out their website, but if you could hook me up with Mr.Willis' E-mail Address I would greatly appreciate it. By the way my mom is from the Portland area originally, I still have family in Buckfield. Thank you again.
