year, make, model, how much water does it hold, how many gpm, how many guys does it hold,special equipment, and the big one, what did it cost... we all know that the first due engine is one of the most important trucks we have, and also one of the coolest ones to brag about! we also know that its usually the "small town" fire departments that have the nicest trucks...so let the braggin begin! ill begin... ours is a 2007 Pierce Enforcer rescue pumper, 6 man cab, side mount pump controls, 750 gal tank, pumps 1500 GPM, PTO generator, electric/hydraulic jaws power unit with on board reels for jaws, 2 500' power cord reels... i believe it cost around $400,000.00 with all new equipment.

For fire calls in our town our no 1 engine is a 1995 GMC7500 hub pumper truck with a 5 man cab carries 800 gallons of water,pumps 800 gpm carries 800ft of 4 inch supply line,800 ft of 2 1/2 which can be set up for rear or side discharge,the main attack lines are 2 inch on pre connects one at 150ft the other at 250ft,also another 800 feet extra 2 inch along with spare nozzles to run off each side on the side discharges,its not fancy but it definatly gets the job done,i do not know the cost,it was before my time in the department,
