there was one day a training that me and my partner, who was also a girl, totally kicked ass! we had to do a relay drill pulling hose hiting the hydrant, set up the pump and start flowing water to a "fire"... me and the other girl got the whole thing done about 5 min. before the other teams did--best part was os that they where all guys and and we where also the youngest. (plus we did it right the first time and without anyu help from the instructor)
