Armor Volunteer Fire Company, Hamburg, NY
We are a volunteer fire company that is the official fire company of America's Fair (also known as Erie County Fair).
Our district is approximately one square mile with 29,000 residents. We have 57 active members and ran 420 calls last year. Our average response time is 3 minutes.
We have one main fire hall but set up our station #2 for 10 days during the Fair.
For apparatus we have 2 Engines, 1 Heavy Rescue, and an Ambulance. Our Ambulance is ALS level of care and we use Rural Metro Ambulance Service as our back up response.
Our company also includes a Ladies Auxiliary Organization and Exempts Organization. We also have honorary members in our department.
