Excuse me for posting this twice, I'm new to the site. I wanted to share a new innovative way of moving RIT equipment on the fire ground that adresses the manpower and fatigue issues.

 I was assigned to a busy truck for several years where we responded on a tremendous amount of RIT calls. Too many times we were several blocks removed from the fire ground. By the time my 4 men carried the RIT basket to the front of the building they were beat. Add snow or incliment weather and it's compounded. I came up with this device out of necessity. My concerns were centered around a need to get in service quickly, ease of operation and fatigue factor. The TURK allows one firefighter to transport the RIT basket easily while freeing up manpower to run ladders or other needed equipment.
