Ok so with the increase in forgine cars and newer model cars coming out I'm noticing are biggest problem with securing the cars electricity is no longer just. "Hmmm is the battery on the left or right side of the engine compartment." I've even seen batteries in places as nice as the bumpers! Way to go Mercedes! Other cars have batteries commonly placed under driver, passanger and rear bucket and bench seats. Some of which are located directly under a patient that has been involved in a sever MVC and requires extrication. So I was wondering and thinking this would be a great topic to bring up ideas about how to secure the battery when a patient is pretty much in the way of accessing it.
