I am currently enrolled at Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio. Right now I am taking my EMT-B course. Once I'm done with all my classes I am considering moving to Columbus. I have two question that I would like to open up for discussion. 1). Do I need to take Emt-B, FF level, FF level 2, and Paramedic? Or just the first three? 2). How are the jobs in Columbus? Would I be able to find a job up there easily? Anyone have any suggestions or help?

the hiring criteria for each department is up to that department. most in this area for part time work all you need is Level I FF and an EMT-B to go full time they want the Level II and EMT-P. I have a website that shows Departments all over the country it is
http://www.firedepartments.net/
just go to the Ohio County fire Departments and click on the county you wish and it will show the depatments and weather they are career or part paid on call and may have the department website. hope that helps. Be safe and Good Luck
