Well, I think I may have finally gotten a nickname at the station. "TYTs." I don't know exactly how it got started, but someone called me it once, and I answered, so it kinda stuck. Granted, it is well-deserved, as I am not very small lol. The reason for the spelling is 1. TITS wouldn't look appropriate on the back of my helmet in public. 2. Someone decided it could stand for "Touch Your TaTas." Now, you need ot understand that the guys at my station are insanely inappropriate, and they love the fact that there is a girl there who doesn't get offended at every crude comment made, so we all make inappropriate comments to each other all the time (only joking though). i think it's funny, though :-)

Everyone (even my mom!) calls me Flounder. Its from Animal House. Kent Dorfman...Kent Henson It stuck and now some people dont even know my real name.

Way back in the Day , when I was a rookie- One night we were in the bunk room and one of the guys was telling this joke that I had NEVER heard befor , see ? It went something about a Indian kid wanting to know how he got his name ,and He asked his father,the Chief.Well, his dad tells him every time a new child is born he looks out of the tent and whatever he sees is what that child is named......you know like,"running Deer , or Hooting Owl,why do you ask two dogs humpng ?
I laughed so damn hard I fell out of the bed onto the floor-so they started calling me "two dogs".
Years later , when I was promoted to Lieutenant, one of my crew said that I was now the "Big Dog" at our station.
Now ,after 25 years on the job,they just call me "the OLDDOGG" .

ive got three nicknames wolerine my wildland name thebull or bull my structure name and wookie my station name .wolverine and wookie are because iv got more hair on my back then on my head. i got bull cause i was venting a roof and holerin for equitment i needed and the chief told me to quite my bellerin so they started callin me bull

To all my Brothers and Sisters.
I am asking for prayer for my Father. He is not doing so good anymore and his health is getting very bad. He is having problems with his heart, lungs, neck, back, and now his liver. He has Upper Respiratory Disease, General Disk Disease in his lower back, crushed disk in his neck and the Doctor fused from disk 2 to disk 7 and put a medal plate and 7 screws in his neck, and now his Liver is messing up. Some people say that there is no way he should be alive, but he is still here and fighting to stay alive.
What is so hard about the hole thing is that, His not only my Father but my mentor, teacher, and a Brother Firefighter. So I am having a hard time dealing with everything. I am asking for prayer to help my Family and I to be able to deal with it all. And any advice is welcome and thankful.

my nickname is Squirrel.i got it one day at training when i had to go through this box.i kept trying to go under a bar at the end,but i couldnt.Taco had to say "if you cant go under,what are you gonna do?"so i hopped over the bar.he said i was swift,but a little on the nutty side like a squirrel.it just stuck after that.
