I am working on starting a Firefighters Health 5K run/walk with the American Heart Assn and other organizations. Should be in June. Hopefully in the Meadowlands. Still working on all the details. Let me know if you are interested.

Blackhat born and raised in Jersey. Second generation truckie. Dad was my LT when I joined. 12 years on truck then 4 on engine, off for ten, now a hose humper again. Oh yeah, played mop and glow and bandaid head also.

hi john and the rest of the group
i do live in nj and have lived in nj except a small stay in texas when my husband and i first got married and he was a pilot in the air force then he was released so back to nj were i've been on a fire/ems/rescue co for 23 yrs and still going. my husband has also been on the co we currently moved and are planning on joing that co right up the road from each other! so in nj we stay. i love ems! that is my passion!

Hi John; I started my firefighting back in Wayne, NJ with the Wayne Fire Dept. Fire Co. # 2. I Then moved to Colorado and joined another ire dept. and retired after 23 years with that dept.
