We use 4" Angus LDH. Much easier to repack and handle, still plenty of water flow to supply what we have and if the need arises, lay another line to a second engine.
Good. Anything has to be easier then 5" I think we where the last in the county to switch to 4"
5" LDH.
5ldh with 6inch with stortes coupleings
We just switched to 4 inch LDH from 5 inch at my paid dept. In my vol dept we are still using 2 1/2 inch supply hose because of the hydrants are only 2 1/2 discharge.
