2nd Annual S.T.A.R.T. Fest 2010

The Calcasieu Emergency Response Training Center announces 2nd Annual Special Techniques and Response Training Fest (S.T.A.R.T.) scheduled for July 9 - 11, 2010 at the Sulphur,La Ninth Grade Campus located at 600 Willow St., Sulphur, La. 70663

Students will have some exciting training classes to choose from as well as a vendor area with the latest emergency response equipment and fire apparatus.

This event is growing and in its second year S.T.A.R.T. FEST 2010 will be the largest annual training conference in Southwest Louisiana.

S.T.A.R.T. FEST 2010 provides excellent training classes geared toward Emergency Responders and it consist of classes that will provide your department training to make your next emergency response scene run more efficiently and safely. CERTC is proud to be a sponsor of this event and we invite emergency responders from all over the Gulf Coast to attend.

All classes are FREE of charge so get your department ready for S.T.A.R.T. FEST 2010.

The Equipment show will be Saturday, July 10, 2010-8:00am to 6:00pm. The vendor area will consist of more than 50 booth spaces with the latest in fire and rescue equipment, apparatus manufacturers will also be on hand with numerous fire trucks equipped with the latest technology. This will be a family event so bring your families and enjoy a day of fun and fellowship with emergency responders from throughout the Gulf Coast. Door prizes such as gift cards, fire helmets, t-shirts, hand tools, etc. will be given away every hour during the equipment show.
