i hate to bring up this subject but something like this has not happened to me in over 20 years. i went to a fire in a strip mall. the fire looked good on dispatch and it quickly went to a second alarm. upon my arrival i was confronted by a law enforcement officer who immidiatly informed me that i "could not take pictures of the fire". i asked why and she asked me for my ID. i gave it up and she asked me why i wanted to take a picture of a fire? i said to document the activities of the fire department for future study and education. she said i had to remain in a certain area which i did. she ran my name and took my persoanal information and left me. later at another area she remeinded me to remain where she told me to or i would be arrested for obstruction. i understand she has a job to do and i complied, but isnt being told that "i cannot take pictures" a violation of my constituntinal right? (if so which one?)...this encounter was complete BS and i will be posting a question in the main area
