Just read an article in NFPA Journal that there were "174,000 highway vehicle fires in 2015, an increase of 3.9 percent from the year before, and 30,500 other vehicle fires, a highly significant increase of 17.3 percent".
The article goes on to point out that the number of deaths in 2009 was 260 and the number of deaths in 2015 was 445 a 71.2 percent increase
With the difficulty in acquiring vehicles to burn and practice extrication it seems that a Class "A" type Vehicle Extrication prop that can be used over and over for years would make sense.
