Fallen Assistant Chief
Assistant Chief, Bryon Noland of Indian River Fire and Rescue, Vero Beach, FL died August 17th, 2010 of a heart attack. He was 55 years old.
I remember meeting him one evening while out with a friend. We were cadets at the time and he gave us some advise on how to get our careers going. Sorry to see he's gone. Glad to have met him.

So glad you have the memories you and your friend made while talking to him. He must have been a fine man to have made that much of an impact.
