Hello! My name is Christopher (or just Chris) Smith. I am currently in the fire science associate's degree program at Black River Technical College in Pocahontas, Arkansas.

While I was in the air force, I was a very proud member of the Honor Guard. Upon joining the reserves at Milwaukee, Wisconsin, I assisted in training new members.

I have experience in change-of-command ceremonies, funerals, parades, weddings, and many other Honor Guard functions. One of the reasons that I really enjoy being an Honor Guard member is because it allows me to honor members of the service who have come before me. The Honor Guard, in any service that it exists, is not only for public relations; it is also an internal way of celebrating who we are and why we do what we do.
