The 2012 Honor Guard Clinic, hosted by the Milwaukee Firefighters Honor Guard and the North Shore Firefighters Local 1440 Honor Guard, will be May 17-19, 2012.
This years clinic will have some changes as we will be splitting the class into beginner and advanced. Beginner will go over everything from basic drill and ceremony to posting/presenting the Colors, posting/changing/retrieving the Guard and final salute, Pall bearer duties and Flag folding, using the "keep it simple stupid" method. The more advanced people will be practicing all the same things as the beginner group, but learning how to use less commands and use more of a silent drill approach.
This will be our 8th Clinic and we look forward to seeing you there. This years class will be presenting the Colors at Miller Park as the Brewers host the Minnesota Twins. We march out to center field to present, and when finished, we change clothes and sit and watch the game. Transportation to and from the game is provided.
