OK here's another that cracks me up.
"The caller states a mister Martinez will meet you and guide you in."
How did you pronounce the man's name? Mart-inn-ez or mart-een-ez?
I got Mart-Inn-Ez and laughed when he repeated it, and repeated it, and repeated it. It still makes me giggle. -
