well we are doing the core comp i just toke over the training and you have to keep up your training

Why would you tell the state to stick-it? They are asking you to train on the basics. Not really hard, or mabey they are.

If you are going to stay a "certified" department then you have to do the core comps, but the real question is why would you not want to do them. Yes they are aggravating sometimes but don't you agree that training is a very important thing in the fire service?
