Hey every one, I want to be the first to welcome every one to the Future EMT/Paramedic Group, rather your a current student, About to start, or a veteran professional, all are welcome here.

This group is ment to be a place where students can share stories, and talk about there thoughts, and for Veterans to point out things that they used to help them while they were in school like special studing tricks and of the like.

Let me tell you a bit about my self really quickly here,
I'm a 27 year old in the rocking Knoxville metro area. I've been in Emergancy services for going on 4 years now, 2 in the Fire Service, 1 as a Road Deputy and 1 as a Correctional Officer.
I have deciceded to take it a step further and become a Paramedic. Right now I'm a current student at Roane State (in Knoxville) to become a EMT-IV (Tennessee's version of an EMT that is more then an EMT-B but less then a EMT-I).
My plans are to become an EMT-IV, and work for an ambulance service for at least a year, then go back to become a Paramedic.
