Maybe you should have made the title of this post "fly alongs".
I was lucky enough to get a ride with LifeFlight here in jacksonville. In addition to the firefighter connection, I was also conducting "research" for my college term paper I wrote on the business of medical helicopters. It certainly was a good time. I highly recommend that all who have a medical helicopter in the area to inquire about a flight. You have a better chance of riding along when the weather is cooler, as the helicopter can lift more weight in the cooler weather than it can in a warm weather condition.
