Just trying to get in touch with anyone who is involved in fire prevention and would like to share any ideas that you may use at local schools or events to reach the public. My department really doesn't do alot of activities yet. We have recently put together a clown team and are working on getting in the local schools and doing other events. Our department is only 2 and a half years in service from Vol to combination. I came from a department that had an established prevention program that I was active in starting. I have been a professional fire safety clown for six years and I love it. My 5 year old has his own custom made Sparky outfit and my 2 year old is Tailboard the clown. I hope this will spark some conversation.
