I have started to come across and be asked about the "SmartLog" high effeciancy out put log. It is suppose to be safe for woodstoves and fireplaces. It is suppose to burn 35% hotter than wood. I cannot find where it has been independantly tested for the increased heat. I have concerns with the zero clearance stoves and increased heat. I have tried to contact the manufacturer in Canada and they have not responed. has anyone had any issues or seen them used?????
