Just wondering which is the best to grill with? I personally like using real wood chips.

charcoal work great wood chips are good give you a smoky favor
Nothing replaces the flavor that comes with charcoal, especially lump charcoal - not briquets.

Use a charcoal chimney and cut your prep time in half.

I use my Weber gas grill for everything up until recently. Now I'm trying the smoker that my wife gave me for Christmas. I smoked sausage ,chicken and turkey for the 1st try. The flavor was awsome but it dried out the turkey a little more than I'm used to. 4hrs of smoking lump hickory @225degrees. Next attempt will be on father's day making a beef roast and a pork roast.
