Hey all!!

I recently was appointed the new role  Historian my fire co instated by my suggestion recently.

I am inquiring for any amateurs, hobbyist, historians, professors and/or other historians to get hindsight, ideas, and /or thoughts what I can do to find/ obtain historical things, organize, store, display them.
Any and all help appreciated!!

For back story, My fire co was established in 1925. last year we had its 100th anniversary and because alot of old pictures, articles, and some artifacts obtained, I pitched the idea to have a historian be started which after abit of time was given green light to do it. Other then still obtaining things I'm at a loss/ or kinda uncertain how to display, organize, and ways to keep them stored
