On Friday, July 31st, I was hearing early afternoon that there had been a fatal motorcycle accident in Knox County.
On Saturday, I learned that the motorcyclist was Hans Block, age 50.
Han's father was former Secretary of Agriculture John "Jack" Block.
Hans was a great guy. He will be missed by his family, community, church and friends.
Details are still being investigated, but it has been reported that he was stopped and was rear-ended by the car.
We need to be ever vigilant in protecting ourselves.
